I’m Elissa Sallis C. Hendricks — A Brazilian, devoted Christian, visionary, and a determined woman. I arrived in the United States with a suitcase full of faith, courage, and the desire to start over. I faced challenges, adapted to a new culture, and every step of this journey has helped me — and still helps me — grow as a woman, a professional, and a human being. I fell in love with this country that welcomed me — and also with an amazing, handsome man (but that’s a story for another time, haha).
